I am confused, as there are some lines I did not understand. You said, "I have asked him to hang out with me often this semester and he always said yes unless he was busy with exams. But it is quite discouraging that he had never asked me first to hang out with him".

You said also, "I can feel us both getting tensed, whenever we get close to each other" and added, "There are many other things that make me think he likes me too".

Well, there is attraction and a kind of chemistry between you both. It does not appear on the surface of this love relation, because he tends to be calm and a little cold to express himself more. There could be many reasons.

You want him to make the first move to express what he feels really about you, as you always expect guys to move first. This clear in your words, "I want the guy to pursue the girl". It is a traditional understanding. Nowadays, girls could make the first move and they know many strategies to express themselves well to attract the boys they love.

Since you actually meet him and call him, you can just throw some words that express you do care of getting his attention to what you feel. Even when you do not want to say I love you, you could find many ways to make him feels that you love him.

What about polite touches? What about clever adoration words? What about bright letters in your messages? You have many choices.

Know his hobbies, or interests. Try to initiate a dialogue about these concerns. Throw some elegant words and take some polite touches during the dialogue to make him feel your love. Let him know your hobbies and interests. Discover share hobbies and interests and develop a kind of dialogue about them.

It is strange way of thinking, as you said, "I thought about confessing my feelings at the end of this semester, because I think I would be more free to tell him, when I know I am leaving the next week.

I wonder, if you had been serious or not when you wrote that. The best time to do all of the suggestions I mentioned above is now… before you regret. If you feel bound to build this love relation and continue with it until you get married, it will be easier for you to express yourself well. As, I said, there are many ways to tell somebody that you love him.

I love you is not necessary at the start. Create and find the moment that he will say or express sentimental feelings. Then take the glove to mesmerize him by your strong presence, so he will never forget that moment.

Talk to him as a mature, responsible person who are able to decide and take decisions. Meanwhile, express the values you have as a good person and things that you wish to achieve.

The shared interests between you would get you very close to each other. Grow them wisely and start a nice dialogue about them. Show him the other side of the moon. Well, this is a literary expression to show you how to use words while dealing with him. This also indicates the way to mesmerize him by your strong presence, intelligence and elegancy.

If you found that he is attracted to somebody else and he is engaged with her, just try to keep away. Competition is not required here. Love begins with the right person in the right time.

I am really surprised that many requests from girls, which I receive daily express that vision of egoism, when they say they love the guys they mentioned even after discovering that those guys are engaged in love relations with other girls.

Do not be selfish and cheap. Love begins with the right person in the right time.
