Ezine Act 60!

The Ezine Act 60 looks at you, as someone who deserves a magna cum laude, because I believe at the Ezine Act that every body has his own magnetic power to craft something in demand to improve his life.

The Historical Backgrounds of the Ezine Act 60!

I had this newsletter at the date mentioned above on the child book publishing ezine. That was more focused website than the Ezine Act, Politics, Business and Love. However, some things happened and regretfully, I deleted that website and took the Ezine Act into this website to cover the political issues on the Ezine Act Political Section.

I discovered that this website cannot make it, as it is not focused in any topic. It is so wide with the concept of business, love and politics. I realized that I should be doing well by that time to focus only on a theme I love and narrow it down to achieve the success I deserve.

So, again after publishing many editions of the political newsletter on this network, I decided to focus the political part of this website and narrow it down, so I created the political site at HOA Political Scene, took the political newsletter from this site to it and changed its name to HOA Political Scene Newsletter.

The Wise Biz Newsletter was also on another website at wise-biz.com and when I discovered that website was serving the host more than what I expected to get from it, I deleted that website and published the Wise Biz Marketing to be the business and love voice of this website.

But, after a couple of years, I stopped the WBM Newsletter and decided to leave the Wise Biz Newsletter with the massive information it has on 74 issues you'll find on the navigation bar at the bottom of the Ezine Act 60 and start another focused website.

This is the experience you could learn from to avoid mistakes and focus on the most things that interest you to make the magnetic power you have as a syrup of passion to achieve your personal success and get that magna cum laude you deserve.

You should focus from this lesson on the motion of your passion, as it is the fountain of your creativity, so you could build it something worth out of your hobby, personal experiences, or things that you know some information about. Welcome back everybody and a warm welcome to our political newsletter's subscribers who responded to the call to subscribe to the HOA Political Scene Newsletter at the political website to continue with the Ezine Act in its new name, HOA Political Scene Newsletter.

I am personally delighted to have you at the political site, so we could continue the mission the Ezine Act started and enjoy more well focused political issues on the Horn of Africa and then maybe do something to stop the political crises.

You'll see many editions of the old political newsletter on this website, while the new editions after the Ezine Act 65 are on the political website. The Biz Marketing Newsletter has some 74 issues on the Ezine Act's Network and all of them are at the archives on this network.

As us usual we started the main columns of the Ezine Act 60 by the political editorial and it is about submitting the criminals to the ICC. Meanwhile the Behind the Misery Margin is about the Impunity of Peacekeepers in Africa.

Politics on the Ezine Act 60!

Editorial: Submitting the Criminals to The ICC!

Anyone concerns about justice in the world should be delighted because the call to submit the criminals in Sudan to the International Criminal Court (ICC) becomes a reality last Thursday in the UN's corridors!

The UN Security Council voted 11-0 to refer "a sealed list of 51 people accused of crimes against humanity in the Sudanese Darfurian region to the ICC".

The USA, China, Brazil and Algeria abstained after the last minute wrangling led by the US to exempt its citizens from submission to the ICC.

Now the surprise at the UN was the abstention of the USA and China.

Each of those two countries has its own attitudes and interests towards the situation in Sudan. The USA has always been the sole player in the International Channels to accuse the Sudanese Dictatorial Regimes of terrorism.

It launched an air-raids against a terrorist location in the capital city of Khartoum in 1998, nevertheless the air raids missed its targets.

That had happened because of the wrong information the USA received about the location of the terrorist factory.

Up to this point, the air raids on Khartoum were not as successful as those attacks led by the suspect terrorists against the American Embassies in Nairobi, Kenya and Dar-a-Salam, Tanzania.

So, what has happened today to encourage the USA to change its attitudes and be "neutral" at the Security Council during the last vote?

Seems that the USA did not want the resolution to be precedent and to be implemented Internationally, so as not to take effects on the international American policy not in Sudan alone but in Iraq too.

The question is why Bush Administration afraid of such investigations and discovery to crimes committed by any American soldier in the Fur region, or in Iraq. These are two different cases and they happened in two different continents.

It's obvious that some of the Fur rebels has an American nationalities. But that's not the strong case, since the question is, is there any "American finger" in any Fur crimes?

This situation declares very well that Bush Administration is not after justice and it's not up to its human tasks to protect human rights over seas.

Well, I can see well that during the corridor's talks, news was heard that China will use the Veto against any resolution to submit the dictators to the ICC. But China chose to be "neutral" in the last vote.

This Chinese attitude indicates that China has been forced by the USA to withhold with the Veto. But China played the game through the American pressures in a manner that will prevent losing its interests in the Sudanese Oil Industry.

Aha, money talks too the same way, as politics does!

Many of people in Africa and the Middle East now believe that those International powers do not care about human rights. Their cry for human rights is only allegations to hide their economical interests, as the voices in these mentioned areas indicate.

NOTE: There is nothing called "Darfurian". If we want to refer to the people or to the region, we should say Fur. The word Darfur, which is pure Arabic consists of two words in fact. The first Dar, means home and the second Fur is for the people, which could be used as well for the region.

The Ezine Act 60 Behind the Misery Margin!

No impunity for Peacekeepers!

Refer Darfur crimes to the ICC, but no impunity for peacekeepers, the human rights organization, Amnesty International says in the following report.

(New York) Amnesty International urges members of the Security Council to refer crimes against humanity and war crimes committed in Sudan to the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court.

Amnesty International welcomes the unprecedented initiative by France to seek the referral in a draft resolution expected to be put to a vote tomorrow.

Amnesty International hopes that a decision will be reached without delay.

However, the organization is seriously concerned that the current draft resolution seeks to give impunity from prosecution for genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes to nationals from countries that have not ratified the Rome Statute of the ICC, and who are sent to Sudan to participate in a UN operation.

This provision would, if included in a referral, be contrary to the Rome Statute, to the Charter of the United Nations and to other international law.

Amnesty International is also concerned that some other members of the Security Council are reportedly discussing an amendment to the French proposal that would broaden the scope of the proposed impunity provision even further and extend it until 2009, the date that states parties to the Rome Statute are scheduled to review it to determine whether any amendments are needed.

For the sake of justice for the numerous victims of the gravest human rights abuses that have been committed in Sudan, Amnesty International calls on all Council members to resist any attempts to broaden the impunity provisions in the French proposal.

Security Council members must respect the fundamental principle of equality of all before the law by not establishing exceptions to international justice.

The organization has long campaigned for a referral of the crimes committed in Sudan to the ICC Prosecutor as a first step towards bringing justice to Sudan after two decades of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
